GOOD NEWS!

The past few days have been filled with tension.But today I have good news.After negotiating with the hospital administration,I managed to obtain a written estimate of the costs as well as the agreement to pay gradually.They insisted in making it clear that it is only an estimate that doesn’t take into account the possible complications that might occur and are bound to significantly increase the costs of the intervention,as mentioned in the document.
Today the first deposit was transferred in the hospital’s account and I am scheduled to start the chemotherapy during the following week.I would never have assumed that the news of beginning an aggressive course of treatment might make someone happy.In spite of that,I am glad and a bit more serene,as I realize that this is the beginning of the road towards regaining my health.
These days have been very tiring ,but now I am finding new resources in the optimism of those of you who support me and send encouraging messages.I don’t know all of you personally,but I thank you with all my heart once again.Without your help,I wouldn’t be here right now.
I would like to thank my colleagues,those of them freezing every day in order to make the tent campaign possible,the elderly who donated in spite of their financial difficulties,the children who gave up a new toy perhaps in order to help me and all the kind ,warm-hearted citizens who thought of my ordeal.
Last but not least,I thank you for the warmth in your hearts that has transgressed borders and reached me,giving me the unbelievable strength to carry on.I am aware of your efforts and I don’t know whether I will ever be able to repay you.I promise to do my best in order to get well.
