A doctor saves hundreds of lives in a lifetime. What would you do if you could save a doctor's life?

Ξ HELLO EVERYONE!

I apologise for the delayed message, but I am still recovering after the biopsy. The pain is persistent and annoying .Some of the symptoms are back.
I don’t wish to go through my story once again. You are already familiar with it.I would like to write, however,in order to let you know that I find myself in a totally new position, where I am sharing all my experiences with you.I haven’t wanted to burden anyone  with this so far,I haven’t desired to complain,as I considered it a problem for me to solve by myself. That has been the reason why I chose not to make people aware of the nightmare I was going through, until recently, when I realised  I no longer had control over the disease.
The news were shocking both to me , and my family. I had different expectations.I was hoping for it to end and to be able to tell you about it as if it had been a bad dream. But it wasn’t meant to be.
That was when my friends stood forth and launched this campaign, giving me new hopes.I cannot find the words to thank them for their work, for their support, for everything they are doing.
The treatment I must undergo is costly, but it is the only one enabling me to hope for a normal life from now on.I am aware of the fact that it is a huge amount of money, impossible to gather  on one’s own,but even the smallest donation from your part, brings me one step closer to regaining my health.
I aim to prove that cancer doesn’t imply being condemned to death. I, for one, refuse to look at it from this perspective.I’d like to remain positive and hopeful.
I thank you all for being there in this difficult period (I am sorry I don’t know you all,in order to thank each and every one of you).I have read all the encouraging messages, even though I haven’t managed to reply to them all,and I confess that they have made me stronger.I hope that one day as a doctor I will have the opportunity to give back part of the support I am receiving now.
Claudia
