Claudia completed her chemotherapy,the ABVD(Adriamycin,Bleomycin,Vinblastine,Dacarbazine) regimen in the March-August 2009 interval,coupled with 8 rounds of Rituximab (a monoclonal antibody directed against the CD20 surface antigen) between March and October 2009 . Despite the aggressive chemotherapy,a complete remission was not obtained.The nodes’ dimensions diminished,but their growth continued.
